Zhang Hong Guang
Composer
Graduated from thc Central Conservaiory of Music in 1989, Zhang Hong Guang is considered as one of thc renowned professional composers in mainland China today. He is particularly active in composing and arranging pop music which has a distinctive musical style and subtle musical language. His rigorous serious music training has certainly contributed to his success in writing pop music.
Zhang Hong Guang has written a wide variety of works, such as symphonic poem "Wan Ge" string quartet "Ge Yu Wu", theme music for film "Nu Ge Xing De Gu Shi", television drama "Shu han En Chou Lu" and television documentary "Deng Xiao Ping".
Zhang Hong Guang was a composer for Oriental Song and Dance Troupe from 1989 to 1996. He is currently working as composer for the Chinese Opera and Dance Theatre.
Chen Tao
Lyricist
Graduated from university in 1986, Mr. Chen Tao started writing lyrics since 1990. In recent years, he has written the lyrics of theme songs for numerous television dramas, one of which is "Wo Ai Wo Jia"
He has also written songs for various artists such as Zhu Hua's "Feng Huand Yu Hu Die", Tian zhen's "Pa Hei De Nu Ren" and Tu Hong Gang's "Ba Wang Bie Ji".
Zhu Hua
Singer
Zhu Hua received two years of formal vocal training in folk music at Wuhan
Conservatory of Music from 1985-87. During that period, she had also released her first solo album "Zing Zai Meng Chung" and second album "Zhu Hua Zhuan Ji" in 1985 and participated in the first and Second Hundred Chinese Singers Concerts in 1986 and 1987. After her graduation in 1987, she moved to Beijing. Since then, she has been actively participating in a variety of concerts and cultural and entertainment shows.
In 1992, Zhu Hua signed with Chia Tai Iee Music Production Ltd. and her solo album "Feng Huang Yu Hue Die" was Published in 1994. The list of awards she has received in recent years is the best recognition of her talent and hard work. Her song "Lei Di" was awarded the Top Ten Gold Songs Award in the Chinese Original Song Chart presented by Shanghai Radio Station in 1995. She was also presented the Most Unique Performance Award in Xi'an by the New Force of Chinese Pop Music in the same year. In 1996, she received the Singer Achievement Award for the Decade and at the beginning of this year, she has received the Top Ten Chinese Albums Award for 1996 presented by the Nanjing Journalists' Association.
